Biology is the scientific study of all aspects of living things, and it shapes our understanding of our world, from human health to biotechnology to environmental preservation. Living things depend on chemical reactions that require water, carbon-based molecules, and other molecues including enzymes to regulate chemical reactions. In these two chapters, we will learn important vocabulary words, history of science, important sciencetists, value of water, carbon molecules, and enzymes.
