Welcome to Biology 1

Biology is the study of all living organisms and how they interact. The purpose of this course is for students to learn the building blocks of life, ecology and biodiversity, cells and metabolism, and genetics. There will be an emphasis on problem solving, teamwork, and outside research to allow for us to expand from only using the textbook. Memorization and studying is also key to this class. Labs and field trips will empower students to test and observe what we learn in class.
