Body organization and chemistry
Anatomy is the study of the structures in our body. Physiology is the study of funtion in our body. Both of these together will make up this course, from atomic to organ systems. In this introduction we will learn medical/anatomical terminology that will lead to our success in this course and future goals. We will learn about the essentials for life, what qualifies something as alive, body regions and cavities, the concept of homeostasis, and the multiple careers that A & P will be essential.
